1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Edu51Portal, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. This platform is intended for students, faculty, and staff of Bangladesh University of Business & Technology (BUBT), across all departments. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this platform.

2. Description of Service

Edu51Portal is an academic portal for BUBT students across all departments, providing:

• Course materials, lecture notes, and exam resources by department and semester
• Exam routines, notices, and academic calendar tracking
• Team collaboration — team building, tasks, chat, and shared files
• Student network — connections, messaging, and an Alumni Hub for mentorship
• A custom class routine planner
• An AI study assistant

3. Eligibility

To use Edu51Portal, you must:

• Be enrolled as a student at BUBT, in any department, or be affiliated faculty/staff
• Provide accurate registration information, including your student ID, department, and section
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Be at least 17 years of age

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Edu51Portal only for lawful educational purposes. You must NOT:

• Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
• Upload harmful, offensive, or copyrighted content without permission
• Use the platform for commercial purposes or spam
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform
• Impersonate another student, faculty member, or staff
• Share exam answers or engage in academic dishonesty through the platform

5. Content Ownership

• User Content: You retain ownership of materials you upload; you grant Edu51Portal a non-exclusive license to host and display it to authorized users
• Faculty/Official Content: Course materials and notices uploaded by faculty remain the intellectual property of the respective creators and BUBT
• Platform Content: The Edu51Portal design, codebase, and branding belong to its developers

6. Google Drive Integration

Study materials are delivered via Google Drive integration. Administrators upload materials to a shared drive; students access them read-only through the platform. We only request the minimum permissions necessary and do not access personal Google Drive files outside shared course materials.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Edu51Portal is provided "as is" for academic use. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, or that all course materials, schedules, or notices are accurate and complete. Always verify critical academic information (exam dates, results) through official BUBT channels.

8. Limitation of Liability

Edu51Portal and its developers are not liable for loss of data or files, academic performance or exam results, incorrect information in study materials, or service interruptions.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in misconduct, or are no longer affiliated with BUBT. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting support.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
